# account_suspended

The account is suspended, so changes are paused. Existing domains keep serving.

## What it means

An invoice has been unpaid for 14 days, so the account is suspended. API writes and dashboard changes are blocked; reads still work. Existing domains keep serving for 14 more days, then routing stops. Certificates are never deleted.

## Why it happens

- The card on file expired or was declined and was not replaced.
- The invoice went to an address nobody reads.

## What to do

1. Update the card on the billing page. The account is restored as soon as the invoice is paid, and every domain keeps its certificate.
2. Reads (`GET`) keep working meanwhile, so dashboards and status checks are unaffected.
