# hostname_held

This hostname is held for review.

## What it means

The hostname is held by our abuse review, so it cannot be added right now. Holds are reviewed by a person within one business day.

## Why it happens

- The hostname looks like a well-known brand's; see [held_lookalike](/docs/troubleshooting/held_lookalike).
- The hostname was reported for abuse, on your account or another.

## What to do

1. If the customer is legitimate, wait for the review or contact support with the hostname and who the customer is.
2. Retrying does not skip the review.
