rate_limited

What it means

The app went over a rate limit, so this request was not run. Retry-After says how many seconds to wait.

Why it happens

• More than 60 writes or 600 reads in a minute across all of the app's keys.
• More than one POST /v1/domains/{id}/verify per 15 seconds for the same domain.
• A loop polling a domain instead of listening for webhooks.

What to do

1. Wait Retry-After seconds and retry the same request.
2. Watch X-RateLimit-Remaining and slow down before you reach zero.
3. Replace polling with webhooks. See Limits and pricing for every limit.
